Windows Printing System printer...(due to bi-directional support not enabled).
Cause:
Windows 95 requires that bi-directional communications be enabled when using the Windows Printing System printer. Otherwise, incorrect characters may be printed at the top of the first page, followed by several blank pages. Print jobs that are sent to a remote shared printer are printed correctly.
Solution:
In the 'Printers' window, right-click the 'Windows Printing System' printer icon and select 'Properties'. Click the 'Details' tab and click 'Spool Settings...'. Select the 'Enable bi-directional support for this printer' radio button and click 'OK' twice.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Printers'. (The 'Printers' window appears.)
